A Dangerous Game Part 2

Ark hissed as he slipped into the van, nodding to Gozer who grunted back at him in an orkly manner. Joy greeted Ark with a smile and a thumbs up, "we did good Ark, T will be happy."

"That is if he and Bard make it back," Ark grumbled sullenly.

"Ah they'll be fine chummer," Gozer responded blinking. The ork started the van and began to drive, seemignly of it's own accord. Although Ark knew Gozer was driving the van remotely it always unnerved him to see it. Instead of dwelling on the fact Ark just leaned back in his seat and close his eyes. Killing people always made him feel sluggish. He didn't much care for it, and he often fought to incapacitate over kill. The Bard always joked that that made him weak but Ark just gave Bard a reproachful glare and went on with the work his way. The Bard was the newest member of the group. At a massive 3 meters tall, and weighty four hundred pounds the big troll acted more like that Santa Claus guy you saw on the trid specials come December. Big, loud and happy, all the time it kind of got on Ark's nerve, but you couldn't deny the use of a gigantic troll razor boy that would break into rock songs that were older then he was tall. He drew alot of fire, from Ark and T, which Ark enjoyed.

T on the other hand was slight, and wispy, and wired to the bones, even more so than Bard. But he was the boss, and you always obey the boss. Luckily T has a nose for finding easy and well paying runs. Like tonight, Ark was sceptical but so far the thing had gone on without a hitch. Leaning forward Ark prodded Joy with the metal tip of his shoe, "What's the sitch on the extraction?"

The pale, raven haired beauty looked up with her ice blue eyes, "so far so good, Gozer's drones have the cops pinned down, and T and Bard are heading to the extraction point."

Ark nodded and leaned back again as Gozer piped in, "I got the T-Bird on standby to pick them up, the plan's gone smoother than a greased up joyboy."

Ark snorted at the reference, but kept his mouth shut, Gozer had odd tastes but he was one of the best and Ark wouldn't trust anyone else with his transportation needs."

Ark allowed himself a smile as he closed his eyes, to rest ignoring Joy's foot sliding up his leg, "she always got feisty neaar the end of a run. Ark was looking forwards to a long and arduous night of celebrating. If things panned out.
